Abacus – Broomes Asian Shopkeepers
The sculpture, by artist Nic Compton, was unveiled in 2019. It takes the form of an abacus that pays tribute to the variety of shops and other outlets that comprised old Chinatown and the tool that they used to keep tally of the days takings.
